Morella Potter

I started going to a pottery class in September 2010. Immediately I felt it was something I could ‘do’. My original ambition was to be able to throw porcelain dishes with Celadon glazes. This blog, started in September 2012, is a diary of my journey towards that aim and beyond.

All my ceramics have a function. I love cooking and feel that the making, presenting and consuming of food is enhanced by the ceramics used. To have a  functional item which also holds a memory of the makers love and attention and is a little work of art brings joy to the user in a way mass produced cannot.

I have a shared studio as part of The Kiln Rooms, Peckham Rye, London. If  you are interested in purchasing any products please do e mail me ellacombe03@gmail.com
